The Oar House on Okaloosa Island is the kind of restaurant where the owners and staff make you feel right at home. We are big fans of their BBQ bacon cheese burger and blackened grouper sandwich,

Recently they started having Mexican Mondays. Gary and Miriam cook up delicious and authentic Mexican food that make you want to come back for more. Pictured below are steak tacos.

In case you are not familiar with it, a sope is a traditional Mexican dish. The base looks like a thick tortilla with a soft, slightly pliable texture. The thickness is meant to support its toppings which you choose - beans, chicken, or steak.
